Ironman is back—and better

5x Ironman was always going to sound better than 4x.

And so the time never really mattered. What did matter, however, was the ability to enjoy the spectacle and haul my backside over the finish line.

It was 4 years since my last triathlon. And I remember thinking how much better 5x would sound than 4x. It’s not just 25%, it’s another order of magnitude better. IMHO. :-)
