San Pellegrino best served chilled

New entrant to my Top 100 brands this year is San Pellegrino... Previously, soft drinks have come close, but never made the cut. They were either over marketed (Schweppes) or over-priced (FeverTree)... However, after a summer of discovering new flavours in the San Pellegrino real-fruit juice range... I've decided to make some room. 

The real-fruit juices are best served chilled, and ideally over ice. The flavour of the moment is Lemon and Mint. :-)

San Pellegrino has a great story to tell too. The town of San Pellegrino Terme (northern Italy) has been producing mineral water for over 600 years. In 1509, it's said that Leonardo da Vinci visited the town to sample and examine the "miraculous" water. By 1899, the company has started producing and distributing bottles of mineral water. In 1932, orange juice was added as a variant and company has never looked back.
