Exposure never exposed

Exposure never exposed

Exposure Lights was founded in 1990 and is driven by the obsession of creating the ultimate in innovative sports product. Today, they dominate the high-end lighting market in the UK and across the world.

I've been a raving fan of Exposure lights for over 10 years. My eldest brother bought one for his road bike (at the time, he was the only person I knew who could afford one). They aren't cheap... but you get what you pay for. Every model is solid, will floodlight the road ahead and will last a lifetime.

I have several memories that will also last a lifetime.

  • Ride Across Britain 2013 and descending Glen Coe lighting up the road ahead. Two front lights (one with solid beam, one with strobe) and a rear light dazzling the cars behind. The whole landscape was lit like nothing I had experienced before.
  • Cycling the A56 from Chester back to Manchester late at night (400 km ride to Snowdonia and back), safe in the knowledge that my lights would work. Nothing to worry about. Just keep peddling.
  • Tour de Mont Blanc and descending the first 16km in the dark... followed by the final descent (some 300km later) down the Comet de Roseland on the stroke of midnight. Lights are to see not just to be seen!

With some long rides planned for the season ahead, I've just purchased the latest in the range - the new Blaze Mk2 with ReAKT (Ambient Kinetic Technology). This is the latest innovation enabling the light to adapt to conditions, flaring up under braking or entering brighter environments, becoming your safety beacon for the open road.

No matter what kind of ride, a rear light is always essential. Producing intense, wide beams of red light with the option of solid and pulsing outputs the range of Exposure rear lights maximise safety by ensuring that every cyclist is seen.
