Rouleur collection

Rouleur is a British cycling magazine first published in 2006 by sportswear brand Rapha.

Every month, I look forward to a copy through the post. The distinctive fresh smell when you open the packaging. A personalised cover note from Tom Cleverly the Editor in Chief. The opportunity to thumb a beautifully designed publication.

I was first introduced to Rouleur when cycling the 2011 Etape du Tour (Modaine to Ale d'Huez). Rapha were on hand giving out free copies of their magazine. I've been a subscriber and raving fan ever since.

The magazine's main focus is road racing but there have been excursions into areas such as cyclo-cross and track racing.

Rouleur features photography and serious writing celebrating the passion and beauty of the sport and has built a dedicated and valuable following from both discerning cycling fans and the most influential bike riders in the world.

It sounds a bit pretentious now, but I thought there was a bit more to road cycling than fitness specials, pictures of bunch sprints and road tests of £1000 bikes.
